How can we protect climate policies from misinformation? What lessons can we draw from the EU Nature Restoration Law, the Common Agricultural Policy and farmers’ protests, and the European Green Deal?
Together with my co-authors, Dr Maria Chiara Franceschelli and Marvin Fendt, I contributed to this policy study, which provides policymakers, civil society organisations, researchers and media professionals with a practical toolkit for countering misinformation and disinformation.
A very big thank you to Elena Gil, who coordinated the project and supported us throughout the process, and to the content editor, Ania Skrzypek, who designed an excellent programme for all participants.
Many thanks also to all the institutions that made this publication possible: the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS), the Karl Renner Institut, the Foundation Max van der Stoel, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, the Foundation Amicus Europae, Fondazione Pietro Nenni, the Olof Palme International Center, and, of course, the Eteron Institute for Research and Social Change.
